The third in a series of historical miniatures game days, where veterans and newcomers alike can spend a day in good company, killing toy soldiers with other toy soldiers! (We hope to do this every two months going forward.) The event will start at 10 AM and run until 5 PM, with games in two sessions, covering a range of historical periods. Gamers of all ages and skill levels are welcome!
Wicked Gaming Center is located at 70 Hancock Road, Peterborough, NH 03458. They can be contacted at (603) 933-9948. Queries regarding the event should be e-mailed to the organizers at ilg21@yahoo.com.

Admission is $15.00 for the day, and can be paid on arrival or purchased from Wicked Gaming directly, but reservations for specific games should be directed to the organizers at ilg21@yahoo.com.
[GA01] Stukas, Sailors, and Sabers at Stalingrad: The Cossacks Ride!: Lead a charge of mounted Cossacks - or the countercharge by the Savoia Cavalleria - as the Red Army throws everything from machine-gun armed chariots (yes, the kind drawn by horses) to attack boats carrying Naval Infantry (in their pretty striped shirts) in a December offensive to crack the Fascist grip on Stalingrad.
No experience is necessary; rules will be taught. Tweens and teens welcome.
Rules: Flames of War[GA02] The Battle of Sandy Hook: In the early days of the War of 1812 Commodore John Rodgers sortied from New York City. Historically he left quickly and missed an encounter with Commodore Brook coming down from Halifax. He might have lingered so the USS Essex could join his force - had he done so he and Brook might have fought an epic battle somewhere East of Sandy Hook.
US Fleet: USS President (44), USS United States (44), USS Congress (38), USS Essex (32), USS Hornet (18), USS Argus (16)
UK Fleet: HMS Shannon (38), HMS Guerriere (38), HMS Belvadiea (36), HMS Aeolus (32), HMS Africa (64)
[GA03] The Yanks are Coming! The US Army at Belleau Wood, 1918: World War One: The American Expeditionary Force has arrived in France, and it's time to show all those Old Worlders how well the Yanks can fight! Although the USMC has received most of the plaudits for the fighting at Belleau Wood, they were only half the story - the 9th and 23rd US Infantry were there, too, and saw significant action. In this scenario, a US platoon holds the line near the Bois de Bourbetin as the veteran Germans counter-attack. The scenario is cooperative, with all players running the American forces.
Rules: Desperate Glory (Computer-Assisted)[GA11] Light Horse Harry Lee's Christmas Raid: Although cavalry units formed only a small percentage of the armies of the American Revolution, most of them will be represented on the table as Dragoons and Legions from the Continental, French, British and Tory forces clash in a mounted running fight as Light Horse Harry Lee leads a raid on Lord Cornwallis' supply train. Will Banastre Tarleton, John Simcoe, and "Death or Glory Boys" of the 16th and 17th Light Dragoons save Cornwallis' Christmas dinner, or will Lee, the Duc de Lauzon, and William Washington steal the goods so they can all enjoy a "Continental" Breakfast?
Mark's Old School home rules for 25mm figures (most of them, like the rules, are about 50 years old) for up to 8 players No experience is necessary. Rules will be taught. Tweens and teens are welcome.
Rules: [Mark's Old-School][GA12] Assault on the Fortress de la Liberté, 1795: The French Revolution has forced many loyal Frenchmen to flee the country, but now - with the help of the Royal Navy - they are back! The "emigrées" join forces with the local rebels - the Chouans - to try and capture a fortress on the coast of Brittany. Can the radical Republicans be forced from power, and the rightful king be restored to the French throne? Or is it all just a dream?
Rules: Republic & Empire (computer-assisted)[NOTE: Due to COVID we have had to cancel the Plume & Blade game. Apologies]
[GA13] Cossacks for Krampus: Late Fall 1915. Somewhere on the Eastern front. Russian probing attacks by Russian Cavalry into the flank of a German/ Hungarian Corps finds a hole. German and Hungarian units must fend off attacks from two directions. Can the Central Powers disengage from the Russian infantry to their front to cover their rear areas?
